I left my mind under a rock in the back yard. It's now dirty.

I've been at my brother's house for a week now helping my sis in law out with the two kids while my brother is in Iraq. I swear, he's not really over there. He's chillin' in the Bahamas or some place nice playing dominos with the other guys. It's the only way he can call people 20 some odd times a day. Yet he's too busy to call or e-mail his sister. BLAH!
Anyway, I was going to leave for home today to start work tomorrow morning, but the people haven't finished building the place yet, so I don't start until next week. Sis-in-law has shingles( a type of chicken pox for those who don't know) , so she needs some help to take care of the boys anyway. Even if she wasn't ill, she would need some help. Those boys have a lot of energy and Julian is growing his baby teeth. I'm not complaining, she gave me artistic freedom in her kitchen. Her parents are jealous because I've been cooking restaurant type food and desserts. Tonight, I get to try my hand at homemade pizza (^o^)*
I also have managed to cause little bits of havoc, but it's not my fault really. As a rule, if you're going to get a tattoo based off an image from an anime, at least try to find out if it has a real world meaning otherwise don't ask for my opinion or I will call you an idiot and give you the correct meaning. Now the in-law family is all arguing about the stupid thing. They asked!
Well now that I've sweated two pounds in the only room in this house without air conditioning, let me practice tossing pizza around.

Greetings

Writing from home and staying here for now. I've got the official acceptance from CSU. So I got to hang out with Peter, Josh, and Lindsay at renfest this past weekend. It was fun I got weapons and they're sharp and very shiny (^_^) I like them! Lindsay got her corset, and Peter got an instrument, but I can't remember what it's called. It was fun. Anyway, after all the traveling, I fond out that I have to travel some more as I have been volunteered to help my sis-in-law with my hellish nephews. This time, I'm also taking her friend with me. Hopefully she likes Arabic music, rock and comedy. Hopefully, I can talk to her before Friday, find out anything, and warn her if she likes gospel, country, or hard core rap.

Happy demon with new horns roam GSU campus

I'm writing you from my ITEC final, on which I got a pitiful grade. Oh well. I made my own new website because of this class- irodrig1.tripod.com. Check it out- almost everybody's pic is on their, or will be as soon as I can get the software onto my computer. Renfest news- Lindsay and I are going to try to go either this weekend or next weekend. If I can either get my interview moved to this weekend or in 3 weeks, it'll be next weekend. If not, it'll be this weekend or in 3 weeks. I'm almost done with my costume. I've just been slacking on my leather top. It's hard to sew leather, but the jewelry and tiger print skirt are done. YAY!!*does happy dance* Now I must go and do other stuff, but I expect somebody to e-mail with days for renfesty fun*does dramatic drop on sofa that mysteriously appeared* I must see you people at some point this year.

Everybody cheer for this is an update *\(^o^)/*

So much to say after so long a silence. Lets get started!
I started and finished my PPB, which was where I followed a teacher as she taught her class and practice working with students. Those kids were so sweet and they always asked for me to help them read or work on an assignment. I got to learn and see a lot of different parts to teaching and how to work a class. I'm glad I was with this teacher, who was said to be one of the best in this particular school.
I went to New Jersey for a wedding this last weekend. Getting to go was an adventure in itself. At first I wasn't going to be able to go because of a test that Monday. Then I could go with my brother, then I couldn't go because they didn't have enough room, then I could go if my sis-in-law finished her homework, because they had to go as a family, then I couldn't go because they didn't have the money to put the pets in a kennel. I finally could go, but I had to help my sis-in-law take a test and do homework. Blah! But it was worth it to see the family again. My cousins are so big and smart. Catholic wedding services are long and B-O-R-I-N-G. My poor mom had to wear an ugly dress that only she and the bride's older sister wore. My brother got tipsy at the reception and danced. The trip back took forever because my brother and his family had to take a half an hour break every two hours. I got back to Statesboro at 12 on Monday and still made an 80 on the test. Go Me!!
I had to go home this weekend due to car problems. My poor baby was about to fall apart- new muffler, new barring, a new rim, 2 new tires all in one month. It was sad. Today, my parents decided to go to Renfest and take advantage of the 2 for 1 tickets for opening day. We made the mistake of waiting until 10 a.m. to leave and got stuck in lines for about an hour, but I saw a dark elf, lots of men in kilts, and the tightest tops ever!! Too bad I didn't have a camera. But, I did get new horns that are bigger than my old ones and a new top.
BTW, want to go back the 2nd weekend in May. The 4 packs are still available online, but it's going to be 21.25 a person. It's not a bad price for tickets, food, drink, a game, and a $10 off rental. My parents donated they're house for people who need somewhere to stay. I think I'm going to do that since it's only 45 minutes from the festival grounds. Anyway, those who wish to join know where to find me.

A promise barely kept

Twice in one month, getting better. Next month, 3 updates! Anyway, I'm back in school. Classes are good. Long because they're only once a week, but good. I'm making a different bottom for renfest, out of tiger fur(fake of course). I need to e-mail people to get people to agree on a date for it and reservations for wherever we want to stay. Miss Information won't be fully in until Feb. Who am I kidding? Renfest is April 15-June 4 and all memorial day weekend from 10:30-6. The group tickets aren't up yet, but they have a downloadable coupon for $2 off. I think it would be fun and cheaper if a big crowd goes to camp out. I need new horns(maybe), a tail(definitely), and a top(maybe). Here's the entertainment schedule. Any questions, comments, or issues, you know how to find me. With that out, onto other things, but not today. LATER.

I am alive

Happy 2006 everybody. It doesn't really feel like I've been on this earth for almost 20 years. It also doesn't fell like classes should start back on Monday. What have I been doing this break? The usual, a great deal of thinking, occasionally letting people into the thoughts. Actually I made some new friends here through DJ. Very nice people that let me spend New Years with them while my parents went to my brother's house to help them redecorated. I spent the night sharing a full size bed with 3 other people. The guys should have been in their own room, but people stop caring at 6 in the morning.
Moving a little backward in time, Christmas was spent in the company of family I barely knew and friends of these people. I got everything I wanted and then some. Because of my parent's assistance, I now only need a top for renfest.
Now to the future. I think I'm transferring to CSU next year. If the business plans that Lindsay and I have fail(a nice idea to make and sell home made candles, bath salts, and soaps), then I will definitely be going to CSU in the fall. I just can't afford it anymore.
LATER
P.S. I'll try to update more than once a month.

11/04/2005

The hardest thing is...

not having a heart, then getting one and wanting to be rid of it. (A phrase DJ and I came up with sometime ago.) I never used to care like this. Why now? Why have I allowed my opinions to go unnoticed? Allowed myself to fear doing something because of what people will say? I never gave a flying fuck. Why has it changed? I want to walk home in the rain and stand on the balcony just watching the moon. I want to randomly bust out my horns and walk around the campus while holding Puck. Why don't I? How has such simplistic freedoms been given up by me? This is what I think about at 3 and 4:00 in the morning. I think DJ calls me just so I drain his energy and he gets better sleep. No more calls at midnight from him. It's not too much of a difference from the normal amount of sleep I get, but still. Although, I did find out that, while I'm getting more sleep, it's still less then most people. Freaks. How can you waste so much time on something? 2-8 or 9 is fine, that's 6 to 7 hours worth, who needs more than that? How did I end up on sleep patterns? I'll ponder that as I work on other things for tomorrow. LATER

Blah feelings

I was up until 3:00 this morning to register for spring classes. Why? Because this school likes to torture its students whenever possible. The good news is that I got all the classes I need. The bad news is that I have classes until 6:15 or 6:50 Monday-Wednesday, but my first classes aren't until 11:00 and there are no Friday classes.
Monday
11:00- 12:50= Intro to Special Education
1:00 - 2:50= Intro to Inst Tech
5:00 -6:15 Biology
Tuesday
11:00-2:50= PBB Practicum
3:30- 4:45= College Algebra
5:00 -6:50= Foundations of education
Wednesday
11:00- 12:50= Human Growth and Development
5:00- 6:15= Biology
Thursday
11:00- 2:50= PBB Practicum
3:30- 4:45= College Algebra
It could be worse, 5 of the classes had to be taken at the same time and in certain blocks, basically morning(1 class at 8:00) or afternoon(1 class at 11:00).
On to other things. I drove home at 8:00 the morning because I love torturing myself(small amounts of sleep didn't feel this bad in high school). I just need an escape from the apartment walls. That and the urge to go to Flat Rock Park, which as been bugging me for about a week or too. Hopefully, a walk will be taken tomorrow.

Change of Mind

The happiness at the freedom granted freshmen year has totally abandoned me to the realization that it wasn't true freedom at all. I now long to be totally free of this learning process set by people who don't know me, probably never will, and don't even care about that mere fact. It bores me in it's lack of challenge, so I must make my own. Yet, I'm sick of doing that task and have been since high school. This education is paid for, so why must it be a repeat of all that came to me for free. Maybe one day I'll win a shit load of money and not have to worry about anything besides learning everything I want to learn. That maybe a teaching style I use, ask the students, worth a shot.
I'm giving up my meatless life style. I grow tired of not being able to taste everything that life puts before me and actually have been craving a few things. It's so weird to me that, after a year, I want certain meaty products. I don't I'll be going back to McDonald's or BK or any other fast food place in the near future, most of the things I want are homemade(roast pork and hot wings my dad made). I also want a Turkey Leg at Renfest. Knowing my behaviors, I'll get there and want the fish and chips or something. It's still early in the day(but still late since I've been up since 5:30. My sleep schedule is fucked up and getting worse now that I'm recovering from an equally bizarre eating schedule where I haven't eaten before 1-2:00 in the past few days), I think I'm going to work on my Halloween costume.

Due to demand...

a quick update on my life. I'm now the secretary and head of the community service committee of the history club. Those people are serious about their club. Way different from JAFA. Lindsay and I went on the JAFA camping trip and a grand total of two other people showed up. I still think it was the greatest camping trip ever. We walked to an old bridge/museum and learned stuff about the area, then went to the park. One of the guys had a bunch of energy, so he ran back to they campsite as we three left stared thinking "did he really just run?"then stared at the car as he picked us up. We made a fire, well Lindsey and I laughed at the guys gathering wood because they refused our assistance. We laughed even harder as they began throwing the big logs at a tree to break them. The four of us played a game of 20 questions, then the worlds fastest game of tag then worked to build a bigger fire. Once again, the guys did the heavy labor, but they had a hatchet this time, still ended up tossing logs at trees. After all that work, we left at midnight and got some pizza in Statesboro. That's why it was great. As Dusty, JAFA president, put it "All the fun of camping, but you get to sleep in your own bed." I must be off now, I have an assignment to finish.

Pride

Julian Xavier Rodriguez born September 8, 2005. He weighed 4 ilbs and 15oz. He was so little and I didn't get to hold him until Monday after he came home from the hospital. I was so mad that I couldn't look at him when I got in Thursday night. In fact, I didn't get to see him until Sunday afternoon after my parents left. In the end, I got the best picture as of yet. Him and Christian sitting next to each other. My brother got out of going to Iraq for now. Hopefully he won't be leaving until at least March. Anyway, this weekend I went to my first Savannah Pride ::waves rainbow flag::It was on the River Front, which many people believe took away from it because it's a major tourist spot. I must slightly agree because the area was too small for such a big group and instead of being stretched out down the entire area, it was just in clumps. It was still lots of fun. I went with a friend, Laura, and her father. She introduced me to another, Sarah, who I hung out with for a good chunk of the time as Laura left us to spend a couple of hours shooting guns in a silk top and ferret ears. Sarah was really cool, we walked around(sat around in some cases) and talked about a bunch of stuff. There was this one pagan store called moondancer that was small but really nice. I will go back there and buy it all one day. We tried to go to a club a after dinner, but it was $20 for anybody under 21. I was the only one and wouldn't have mind if they went in for a while, but they decided not to and we went to a comic book store and hunted around. Laura's father gave us a mini tour of the movie history of Savannah, which was cool. That guy knows more random information than I do, I wish to be like him when I grow up. It was a nice trip, but it ended too soon for me.

9/08/2005

Hmm...I'm back in Statesboro, but for how long?

Not very long it seems, but I'm moving to fast. I now get to tell you, in all it's glorious detail, my time at UGA. As Peter said, my car was towed, but that happened in the middle. First I realized I forgot my debit card, so he and I walked to the bank(about 2 miles up hill both ways) on Saturday and had to stand in the drive through window because the lobby was closed. That was the most fun I've ever had walking. I had Gir and my favorite extra baggy pants while Peter had his big umbrella. Life can't get much better than that, except for maybe smorgies, but I didn't get to participate in that. Next time I hope! Saturday, I tried to get Kalan kidnapped so that he and Catherine can spend some time together, but that didn't work out. If they want, I'll pick up Kalan one weekend and drive him to Athens, so his mom won't worry. I got to watch a game of D&D on Sunday, and that turned into a strange competition of which character had the biggest dick. Does it always turn into something like that? On Monday, I watched Family Guy and Invader Zim or played a game(Digital Devil Saga- I want it.) while people worked or rotated time with me. I felt so special. Tuesday, we got lost in the middle of the country trying to find the towing company, but it was lots of fun. I made up for the fact that I didn't go to any of my classes by following Peter to two of his. He is right though, that Art History class is BORING. I gave up trying to keep him awake and just poked him on the important stuff. The Literature class was pretty cool though. Even though I didn't read the stories, I got an idea of what they were about through the class discussions.
As for the title question, I'm not able to stay in Statesboro for 2 full days. I'm going to my bro's house to help the sis-in-law because she's having the baby tonight or tomorrow morning. Must go study for a test now. LATER

Oh Goddess it hurts!!

To those of you who don't have to worry about gas, I say this- kiss my big latina ass!! You all suck!! To those who still live in Columbus and have to deal with the gas there- Sucks to be you (especially Geimer, what's it like @ $3.2something for premium?) I hear that they're going to start rationing the gas tonight over there. They may be doing it over here, but it won't matter. People rushed the gas stations at 2:00 today, when all the stations were $2.95 or more. Spent $25 to fill 3/4 a tank after waiting in line for a half an hour. I'm surprised at the lack of people on the corners saying repent now, because this is probably going to be the time when they have the best audience. I fear for the fate of the natural world as people get more desperate for a vanishing item instead of just riding a bike to the places somewhat close. I plan on doing that, it's not that hard to do. People of the nitendo and computer generation, I call all you forth too exercise. I can just hear the collective wail. Maybe we'll go back to the horse and buggy, that would be amusing. A car on neutral with four horses on the highway. I know that there would still be a person with only one or two horses in the fast lane and a shit load of pissed off people behind him.

The lowly monkey ran away with my mind!!

Damn you monkey. I just felt like being random. Apologies to the frightened humans. The second week of school and not much to talk about. The new school buses are on campus and working very well. Except when people cram in like a Hispanic did it, then it gets to be amusing. I should take that back, if a Hispanic crammed people on the bus, those luggage racks and laps would be used. My classes are fun, I have 2 teachers from Poland, both have a little trouble speaking english. The male teacher cursed the American grading system the first day of class. I have dance class this semester as well. It's enjoyable even though we're just learning the foxtrot. Eventually, we will so waltz, polka, swing, and Latin dances. I'm so excited. Right now I'm just looking for a job, which I must continue. LATER

::sigh::

It's my b-day. I should be all happy and stuff. I was for a while, really and truly happy. Got to see some of the guys yesterday, work was a breeze. Now I just want to punch something. My sis-in-law's mom called during dinner. Won't say anything about the conversation, but she ended up giving her own daughter a panic attack. They went home without even eating dinner. The father later calls my brother and blames them for what happened. He didn't even ask how she or his unborn grandchild were doing. If I get on the phone with either of them, I'm cursing them out. Bitches, I hate them, I would punch them if I could. It's not just for what they did to Jenna and Julian, but for the fact that this is the second time my birthday was sacrificed for that family and the shit they caused, which they also did on Christian's birthday. They tried to get out of going to their own grandchild's birthday party with some of the lamest excuses ever. I will not allow this to become a pattern. Next time they do this, Rob isn't talking to them, either me or one of the other members are. They will not fuck with this family and their daughter is now part of it.

Edit:: Thanks to everybody that wished me a happy birthday. It made me feel a lot better :)

7/11/2005

DAMN IT!!

I side swiped a speed limit sign today, but it wasn't my fault. I was going home from work after a heavy storm and an ambulance was in front of me. It signaled to go right, but then swerved back into the lane. I tried to stop but pretty much hydroplaned into the sign. Those fuckers didn't even stop to see if I was alright. The driver's side of my car is pretty bad, I may end up just having it considered totaled because it doesn't steer right. If my dad has his way, I'm getting an echo.
In a semi-lighter note, I sprained my wrist in a wrestling match with Geimer on Saturday. I didn't feel it until I woke up for work on Sunday, but I don't think it was anything compared to some of the pain he was in. Geimer, Kalan, Cat, and I ended in a strange match both times we got together.

Ode to Joy

I finally got the JTHM comic! Ordered it 3 months ago, but shipped it to my brothers house and they didn't mail it to my house until after memorial day and it took another 3 weeks to get here for some reason. Now I desire the Squee collectors edition and have the means to get it. I now work at Blimpies full time. I like the people there and the job is alright. It's inside the super Walmart, so I can go shopping for school stuff on my break. What other randomness is going on in my life? My sis-in-law is pregnant and it's a boy, one aunt is also pregnant, and I think another aunt and uncle are separating or getting a divorce( I think everybody but my parents have had marriage problems these past 2 years).
I guess I should finish off with a dream I had. Lauren and Peter were in it. I ran into them next to a fountain in a city that seemed familiar(Savannah maybe) and hung out with them and a few others I didn't know. We were going to go and eat at a restaurant, but Peter didn't have any money. I told him that I would pay for it, no big deal. We split up to find our cars, but instead of waiting for them I drove home and sat down trying to think of what to say if they called and asked what happened. I woke up as my phone rang because my cell was literally ringing.

Weirdness of my subconscious mind

My sleeping mind called me crazy in a dream a couple of nights ago. Explanation: I had a dream taking place at CHS::shivers:: and they turned the hill in front into an arena for the Aztec game(the one where somebody gets sacrificed in the end) The group was there, I met up with them, then narration switched from me to Ruiz(I think if the dream was long enough everybody would've narrated) and he said, "Everybody in this group has something special to offer, even Ivette, who is totally insane. But nobody knows if it's in her head or mind."
This leads me to odd dream #2(happened an hour later), in which we have the communistic society. Instead of 1 huge house and a bunch of land, it looked like normal suburbia. Yet no outsiders(by these I mean the "normal" people in societal eyes) wanted to move anywhere near our suburbs. This made the area in about a ten mile radius nothing but forest and farmland. It seemed so plesant.

Alright, so I lied

Well, the last statement from my previous blog didn't last very long. But, I decided to mend it, you will not hear a single word about my parents. I've decided I'm just a tenant paying for my stay through cooking and cleaning. Not too hard to do as it has felt like that for years. Anyways, I got a job doing easy stuff. I just answer the phones and greet people when they come into a real estate firm from 12-5. REALLY boring, but great money. It may go through the summer, it may not last until July. It all depends on if one of two girls can't get there schedule fixed so they can work here in the fall. I also got a temporary morning job in at a law office. Basically, they call when they need me. I also have a weekend job working at an antique shop. With some luck, I won't need a job during the fall. I've never been happier in the summer time. LATER

I hate it here

Fuck my brother, parents, this damn city(in Columbus by the way), and fate. My brother misheard my last day in school and has a bunch of people coming over throughout May, so there is no room for me, which forced me to go to my parent's house for the summer, where I need to get a job and stay for the whole summer. I shouldn't be in the same area with my parents for 4 days, let alone 3 months. I'm trying to get 1 full time day job and 1 part time night job or 3 part time jobs, just so I won't be home. I'm not going into any more detail about any of my time here and this may very well be the only entry for my entire summer, as most of it will be filled with rage.

RENFEST

I should have done this earlier, but I've been kinda busy. Anyway, Lindsay and I left for renfest Friday at 2:30, got lost, stuck in Atl rush hour, stuck in a downpour that had us going 30mph at some points, then locked out of the house we were staying at, getting inside a warm dry place at 7:30. After that it was all good. I spent so much more than I intended to, but it was so worth it. The dude that sells horns called me his hero, I got some imp ears, a fan, a weapon(peter has a pic of it somewhere), some gems, but no tail. Next year, I will have a tail, then I will save like $150 to buy the really nice cloak I saw and maybe the dress that goes with it. Anyway, we went to Carly's house to spend the night there on Saturday and everybody just talked, it was nice. I think everyone got along quite well, which was good, although I want to meet this person who threatened Peter on behalf of David. Another person like me? hmmm... Think of that as you sleep tonight bwahahaha. I must go and finish working on projects.

I am a queen...

...the highway is my kingdom. If you cannot keep up move to the side or be bitch-slapped by my car. I have places to be. I love going to see different places, but hate the actual traveling because I get the urge to kill things with the way some people drive. I mean I may speed, but I'm careful about it and wm aware of everything that I do.
With that said, on to the most incredible weekend I've had in a long time. I went to visit Peter in Athens. Yay! He gave a night tour of campus and we got to ring the bell on Friday. Everybody should do that. I also got to walk through the cemetery. Its broken beauty was a sight I loved and mourned:: sighs:: On Saturday, we went to the international street fest. Awesomeness! The dancers were cool, but we missed the Japanese group perform.

I got this pic of Peter and Puck at the fest. Some guy actually stopped Peter and asked about Puck. Most others just gave us strange looks. After the fest we hung out in Peter's room until Peter went to see if anybody came back and discovered the door unlocked. We were debating have Puck sit in the room and leave, but decided against it. For dinner that day, we went to a place called Locos and split a tuna sandwich, some pasta salad, and a slice of cheesecake with Peter's $10 gift certificate. Not very filling, so Peter went with Randy to the dining hall and snuck out some grilled cheese sandwiches for me. Then we watched t.v. and watched the coolest show with a nun named Sister Wendy, Saturdays at 9 on PBS. I hope she comes on in Statesboro. Then I hung out with Peter and Randy as they did laundry and we watched Headbangers Ball then Wonder Showzen (sp?), which is like Sesame Street on Acid, maybe something stronger. Sunday, Peter and I hung woke up at 9 in the morning so I could get breakfast and lunch for $6. We hung out in the dining hall from 9:30 until 12:00. The he, Carly, and I walked to the cemetery and took some pictures around the area. We cleaned up some of stuff lying around- beer bottles, a rusted wagon and a thing that looked like a bound and gagged person-damn those litterers. (Peter- tell Carly my shoulders aren't burnt but my face will be peeling soon *-*) Before I left, I gave Peter I big hug and he wrapped his legs around my waist as a person in a truck just stared at us. It was an amusing way to end a fun trip. Now, back to the fun of classes!

http://www.bushisantichrist.com/
I think it's amusing. If you are a die-hard bush fan or object to Bible usage to prove something you see as stretching the truth DON'T LOOK. I'm posting this for the people I know will get a kick out of it.
In fact, just to be PC(for once in my life), here's the opposing view: http://www.bushislord.com/index.php (this site gave me a chuckle or two as well). Sadly or interstingly enough, the anticrist site seems to provide more evidence than the lord site.

A short update on my life

Spent spring break with my brother and his family, found a bunch of job applications, did nothing else (due to lack of money). Came back to school and did the normal school stuff. Went home this weekend for a wedding. It rained a lot (seems to do that at every wedding I've ever been to), but it was still nice. I'm going to learn how to make food into animal shapes someday. Anyway, I didn't leave Sunday as I planned because of my parents not wanting me to travel far in the bad weather, so I went to see Ring 2, it was better than the first.

Can't spell manslaughter without laughter!

The title is a quote from a story I was reading about JTHM. On that strange note, my parents came down for family weekend, but my bro and his family couldn't make it::tear::. We didn't do much, but I got the apartment off campus like I wanted. It's so nice! It also means that I'll be getting a job this summer, but not in Columbus, I'm going to North Carolina to help my sis-in-law out when my brother gets shipped over seas. Anyway, after the apartment we went to Savannah and walked along the beach, where I collected a bunch of seashells(I'll turn the ones with natural holes into jewelry). Then we went to the river walk and ate dinner there. That was it. I got my dad a katana for his b-day and won JTHM director's cut on E-bay. I'm spending spring break job hunting at my brother's place with help from the sis-in-law. Have no clue when I'll be back in Columbus as of now, maybe the second weekend in April. LATER

Camping fun

This past weekend was the JAFA camping trip at Magnolia Springs and it had a grand total of 4 accidents. On Friday, Lindsay and I got there around 2:30 and set up our tent. Then we went with 4 other people to collect the first batch of fire wood. When that was done, Lindsay, Jeremy, and I drove to a gas station to get some supplies we forgot. Unfortunately, we forgot matches, so we waited for somebody to come with them. Most of Friday night was spent just having casual conversations until people started going to sleep. It ended up with me, Lindsay, Todd, and Matt singing, Ricky on the cooking pot, and Dusty on the guitar and everybody else a sleep or listening to Ricky bagging on the pot. Everybody but Matt and Ricky(who had 6 cups of black coffee) went to sleep around 3 or 4 in the morning. BTW- Matt hurt himself cutting wood and Jeremy tripped on a fire pit, cutting both shins and breaking a flashlight. And I introduced many people to Puck. Saturday, people woke up between 8 and 11 a group started playing hackey sack, pretty soon everybody there was playing. After we stopped playing, people went hunting for wood. I found a nice looking fallen tree and sent the guys to chop it up(if they want to keep the tools let them work!) Dusty opened a blister while chopping the tree. People went to take a nap except for a few people. This group went to the spring, aquarium, and park, where the swing broke and Dusty fell and probably bruised his tailbone. I took a nap when we got back, woke up and joined everybody. Later in the evening, after everyone had something to eat, a game of "never have I ever" began. I learned more than I wanted to, but it was fun. Once again, it ended up with the same people from Friday. I went to sleep around 4, but barely fell asleep when Lindsay came in the tent and we decided to sleep in the car( it was just too cold!) We woke up around 10:30-11 and put our tent away in the rain, took some pictures and left.

I registered for classes this week and have 13 hours because my other class options have weird times. I don't have any Friday classes (yay! I think). Classes on Monday and Wednesday are from 12 to 4:45, while Tuesdays and Thursdays are for 12:30 to 4:45. My parents are coming down this weekend along with my brother and his family (maybe). Well, I have a paper to work on that's due in two hours.

Laziness

I wanted to update my blog the day I got back here but certain issues came up. Anyway, the Japanese speech competition was lots of fun. It was great to see so many people again. It's been too long. I wish to do more stuff and see everybody again like that. Peter should have placed, but nothing can be done about that. Umezono was yummy! Peter has some pics on his blog so look there. After Umezono and Tomato, I went with Peter to Athens for the night and met more of his friends. I mostly listened as they talked about things going on in UGA. Everybody went to bed around 1:00, but, except for Peter, nobody fell asleep for awhile because of random conversations. Anyway, woke up at 7:30 because an alarm went off and I got to watch as Peter was stepped on. Peter and I then went to his room to talk and find directions to get me back to GS. I ended up leaving at about 9:30- 10:00, but got lost a couple of times, so I didn't make it back until 12:50 or so. I did not even put my stuff down when a girl I know asked me to go have lunch with her. She chose Checkers, vegetarians paradise::rolls eyes::, so I went for the ride. At Checkers, this girl left her keys in the ignition, the windows open, and the doors unlocked. On the way back, she drove on the wrong side of the road and we almost died. I came back to find Katie in the room, sick as a dog, but not hangover sick, flu sick. After that I got a couple of phone calls, fell asleep, woke up, chatted, then fell back asleep.
Monday, my English lab was cancelled, so I went to have dinner with Lindsay. She told me about different role playing games on the net, so I followed her back to her room and she showed me what goes on in them. Tuesday, Lindsay and I took a walking tour of the campus where we went to the museum and the Wildlife center, to talk to one of her teachers, and to English class, which was cancelled. Then we went to Walmart for camping supplies, to a JAFA meeting, then I went and hung out in Lindsay's dorm. Also on Tuesday, I went to check out some apartments that are really nice and cheaper than some of the dorms on campus. I talked to my mom about it and we basically got into an argument via AIM because she tried to make certain points without knowing all the details. So Wednesday I got a copy of the lease so that she could see it. Also on Wednesday, Lindsay and I went movie hunting First in Blockbuster, where the dude kept following us and asking if he could help with anything, then to Movie Gallery, where Big Daddy Wolf(or something like that) convinced us to help him put away videos, we got stuff for it. Then we went and ate ice cream at Carvels(yummy) and back to Lindsay's dorm to watch SAW. Tomorrow is the JAFA camping trip. YAY!
By the way, Lindsay has her own
blog, which I said before, but she got mad because I didn't say anything about her::shrugs::. Well, she's just as insane as I am, but cool. She loves Mad, Mad House and other reality shows. She's in chorus, in love with Erik, the Phantom of the Opera and has a creation named Muse. Anything else, she can add to the comment box, so check there.

Work and Play

The Explore Japan Program last Tuesday was a big success in my opinion. I ended up taking over the language section- it was me and another girl who the kids could barely hear- but it was lots of fun. I didn't think it would go that well after the disaster of a rehearsal. Anyway, I also did room selection on Thursday and got my first choice. I also pissed some people off because I moved straight to the front of the line, but that's what they get for being so determined to have a certain roommate. After the Geology test on Friday I hopped in my car to go home, but was only home for about and 2 hours (1 hour was spent running errands) before I had to get in the car again for a 6 hour drive to Orlando, Florida.
This past Saturday was spent at Sea World and a luau. You can see the pic here. If it asks for a username and password use ivetheimp@hotmail.com and fluffy. It sometimes wants to be a bitch to me. Special note: I don't like taking pics of people, especially when they pose, so these are all of various animals. My battery died before the luau(it sucked, so it didn't matter) so no pics there either. We returned home Sunday- by the end of the drive, I was ready to put my dad in a sleeper hold, can't stand when people continuously change radio stations .
All in all, I'm sick of the car for the week, but will be ready to drive by the weekend. By the way, I found more dolls like Puck, the site is in Spanish(the dolls are from Spain), but the names are basically the same.

Busy funness

I may have only 12 hours this semester, it feels like I'm going to be even busier than last semester. This Tuesday, I'm involved in a program for second graders to teach them about Japanese culture. Then there's room selection, Japanese speech competition(Go Peter and Junior!!), a camping trip, and the Renaissance Festival. Along with tests, essays, homework, trips to see my nephew and new cousin, another cousin's graduation, new tattoos and maybe piercings, I'm very excited.

I am working on posting pictures of the rest of my family. Bare with me, I'm not computer-literate.

Who am I?

I have to write an introductory letter for my English professor and one of the questions to answer is what do I feel makes me "ME," but I don't know me. Well I know me, but I hide from myself so much that I don't know the real me anymore or how to figure me out. On that confusing note, I'll do an update of my life.
Christmas and New Years came and went and I am back in school, but doing only 12 hours because the work load in the classes I have will be bigger than last semester. I went home for MLK weekend because there is neither an air conditioner nor a heater in the dorms until the weather stabilizes. At home, I went to the movies to see Elektra(a disappointment) and did nothing else really. Starting tomorrow, I am going to a pilates class every other day because I have nothing else to do.
That's everything, maybe one day I will type the weirdness that happened at the dorm during the last semester. LATER.

A new cousin is born

My aunt had a 10 pound 1 ounce baby girl at 12 today. Don't worry, it wasn't a natural birth. The doctors were worried that the baby would get stuck. This birth also puts me at 2 for 2 in gender guessing. My dreams never lie, though people tend to laugh at them.
My brother and his family are here. Little Christian has his first teeth coming in, his fangs! He also does a funny smirk when I call him little minion.
As for Christmas, I got a new computer(my laptop sizzled and died) with a printer, some stuff from Bath and Body works, a digital camera, jewelry, money, a fuzzy blanket, and a ball of light that makes nature noises. For my dad, I bought a knife, imagine brass knuckles with three knives attached. It's so cool!!! One day the vast collection will be mine*drool*. I also found him a black and white pic of Bruce Lee on one of his movie sets. My mom got shoes that massage her feet and a genie lamp for her collection.
This year for New Years, my parents want to go out for dinner because no family is coming down for the first time in years.

A New Discovery: I recently found out that I was never baptized as a baby, I was only "Presented to God." I'm the only person in the family to have had this because my brother was baptized when he first entered the Air Force. This is an interesting way for me to begin a new year.

Happy Solstice & Merry Christmas

I would also like to wish my Tio Jesus(everybody calls him Papo) a happy Birthday.

Butterflies on the moon

A quick room update: The curtains aren't velvet as I wanted, but they are black with silver moons and stars. My parents put the futon from the old guest room into my/guest room, so it now has a couch on which I am putting black and silver pillows with silver butterflies on them, not my choice.
Anyway, DJ stopped by the house yesterday and we talked for a little while and exchanged numbers because neither one had the other. Unfortunately, I gave him my old cell number. I also saw Jamie on Friday and met her boyfriend(I'll only say this: she manages to find the most interesting people to love). We ran into some dude at BAM who she knew but I didn't. After we left, she told me that he thought I was "exceptionally cute". I hope that by the tenth guy, one of them will say something to my face(3 boys since college started).*sigh* That's all in my life. LATER
*Note to Peter: When are you coming to Columbus for a visit?

*Yawns*

I've been out of school for a week now and am ready to go back I'm ready to go back I'm so bored, but can't go back till Jan 9. The Thur-Wed at my brother's house was fun, but the two days at my parent's house is boring because I haven't been doing anything. I must describe my/guest room, it's nice. One wall is black(about time), the other three are orange/peach/tan depending on the light and who's looking at it, a ceiling fan, all my posters are framed, my tapestry is getting put up soon(unless my parents take it for the living room), porcelain dolls on both sides of the bed, while my black wings are on a mirror background framed in black painted wood and the halo over it, and the floor is a fake black marble with matching sheets. I'm going to make black, maybe velvet, curtains for the window. They made my dream room AFTER I leave. My dad redid the kitchen and they completed the weight/knife room.
Now for school: 4 As and 2 Bs at the end which was a complete surprise because I was expecting 2 Cs. Next Semester: Economics, English, College Algebra, Geography, and Geology. Except for English at 4(which I didn't have a choice in), my classes end at 1:00. I also have a nice gap between classes, so I'm happy. That's everything in my life.

Jenna(sis-in-law) and I named all but one Chubs, the extra one we named Sqog, because he was a big black squirrel that looked like a squirrel-dog mix. My finals are all next week, one a day until Thursday, my dad is graduating from internet college next Thursday(12/16), and members of the family got food poisoning from the meat in their Wendy's burgers(LOL, silly meateaters). I know it's mean, but I warned them not to eat fast food.

gaze to the cameras...and smile. Madness always

Guess I should Update

I watched horror movies and the nightmare before Christmas for Samhain/Halloween. My parents came down for family weekend the same weekend. Had to go home this passed weekend to get my car fixed. Didn't tell anybody because I needed to be alone. Going home this coming weekend for my mom's b-day, so tell me if you want to do anything(thurs night-sun noon). Signed up for classes today. English, Math, Geology, Economics, Geography, and Equestrian(horse-back riding)-16 hours. I may look for other classes to add. Only a partial vegetarian, parents still trying to make me eat all meats- eat fish for much needed protein. Went down a size in pants. Will post pictures as soon as I figure out the web cam. Got a new phone, CD, and laptop. Getting a sewing machine and digital camera(hopefully for Yule). People here still mess with me because I'm different, oh well. That's everything. LATER
Update: I decided not to do the horse back riding because it cost money and would be from 6 to 8 at night. which puts me at 15 hours.
P.S. I'm officially a member of the clergy for the Church of Spiritual Humanism, which means I can do weddings, baptisms, and funerals :P

Political Statement

For the past few days, some jackass has been erasing my Samhain count down and removing Katie's Bush bumper sticker(don't like Bush, but it's still wrong) from the door. I got sick of it today and have duck taped everything to my door, including the part of the Bill of Rights that says stuff about freedom of religion and speech. I'm also working on a larger sign to count down to Samhain. Others are duck taping things to their doors too. Unless the person knows four different schedules, nothings coming down (I'm working on other holidays).
Anyway, onto my Halloween costume- I'm wearing a skirt, a pretty shirt, knee high platform boots, fangs, horns, and a cloak. The cloak had one of those stupid string-ties, so I replaced it with one made of hematite. It's all black or silver.
A few days ago, a girl calling me retarded because I wasn't a Christian. Me and her had a talk. We understand each other now, and are becoming close friends, it’s nice. She still worries about me sometimes, but that's for different reasons (I'm special!!) ;P

Life is vapor

Nothing lasts forever. I spent the weekend at my brother's house and played with my nephew. He's going to be a minion, he has my smirk and only does it when something is about to happen. My parents came with Fluffy, it was good to see her. I also got to meet Butters, a dog that smiles when you say his name. I didn't do too much, but I went to the mall and got my my fangs. They are the normal ones, but I'm going to by the shredders sometime in my future. Happiness and tranquility never lasts. I left early on Sunday, would have left Monday morning, but I had a group presentation in my morning class and knew that my group wouldn't have it done(sounds mean, but you don't know my group). I was right, they didn't even take all the pictures, and I did all but ten!Ten pictures between three people isn't that hard. In the process of getting the pictures, I made a lady feel special, I called her a goddess and said that I worship the lab she works in for getting the pictures done in a half an hour.
I had another weird dream the day before I left for my brother's house(Wednesday night). It was really short. Anyway, everybody was in it and they were separated into two groups, some in Geimer's car, the rest in my car, but Peter was driving my car and I was walking. So Peter and Geimer would drive a few feet and I would jog and meet them, then they would drive a few feet more and I would do some more jogging. That was my entire dream, but the weird thing is that I woke up and my legs were actually hurting. I think I figured it out, it only happens when somebody insults Puck, he doesn't like it, I guess.

10/06/2004

Confusion

This week is only at the half way point and I've had weird dreams that a psychology major couldn't answer(I asked). #1 happened Saturday/ Sunday morning- My bro cheats on his wife with some guy's girlfriend and the guy said that he can sleep with my bro's wife, but gets a no, so he pulls out a gun, they get into a fight, and the guy gets shot in the shoulder. My brother is like holy shit, we gotta get him to the hospital and then we're in a car driving to Atlanta- me driving, a random girl next to me, my bro in the back next to the guy, and my dog, who got injured and was bleeding. The car stalls, so we take a shortcut through the woods and run into a random couple, who let us borrow their car, a red thunderbird. Somehow, before we got into the car, we lose the guy and my dog gets decapitated, but the head is still alive and eating food, the girl told me not to worry that she'll(my dog) be fine. We get to Atlanta, and have to cross a bridge, the area around the city was flooded. We get to the hospital/veterinarian's office(it's a two in one). My dad is there, something is up with my mom. Anyway, we realize that we forgot my dog's body so my dad went to get it, because we didn't put it on ice. So my dad leaves and Katie's wakes me up going "oh shit, I'm late for church!"
#2 happened this morning- I'm in a contest to get a BAM giftcard and the final part of the contest is to make it down an obstacle course without falling into water which is full of tiger sharks and jellyfish. The course is two stories up and made of wood, there are two stepping spots, a small round stump and another that goes in a sharp slant, and then you have to shimmy down a giant log. Seems easy, but nobody was able to do it. Because I got the closest I won, but nobody wanted to come in the water to get me. Then I'm at some coffee shop with Quita and the random girl from dream #1. I tried to put a disc in a laptop, even though the monk(a Buddhist monk, I think) told me not to, and I got electrocuted. As I was losing consciousness, I heard him say something like not anyone can reach his secrets so easily. Why are my dreams so vivid and why aren't they good? I was told that it could mean I'm mentally disturbed in some way and need some help, but I don't want that. Who the hell is that girl?I've never seen anybody who look like her or had her voice, it was very calming. And the monk? I'll admit, I'm reading a Buddhist book, but this hasn't happened before, so why now? Who is the he the Buddhist monk talked about? LATER

I'm stuck in the Boro

So I got stuck here this weekend for two reasons: 1) a hurricane is coming and the ability to get back is uncertain, 2) My parents took a bunch of money out of my account, so I have nothing. My parents will make it up to me though, I'm getting contacts, a cloak, and scarecrow fangs(shredder or x-tra long?). My dad is getting kicked out the army in October, but they're going to turn in a different ID card for me, so I can still shop on post. I'm going to visit my brother in a couple of weekends, he sold almost all of his dogs(3 left from 10) and is working on the cats. I think that's everything here. LATER

UPDATE: Classes got cancelled, the hurricane hit Sunday night, Monday morning. Nobody's trying to drive anywhere they don't deem needed. I'm working on a paper and studying. They tried to scare some students by saying we were going to have to go to class anyway. I won a $250 hooded velvet cloak on ebay for $25! LATER.

I finally went to the Club

I had a good time on Thursday. At least until some drunk dude swiped his hand across my chest and another tried to grind on me*shivers*, but that was near the end. I ended up being the defender of the girls dancing my way to those I knew and cutting some drunk asshole off. A couple of guys gave me looks of hatred and I just smiled. Ah, grief and anger*evil cackle*. I think I'm going to wear fangs the next time I go. Grief, anger, and fear, Yes!!!Anyway, on the stage there was soft core porn. Girls humping and kissing each other(for free drinks), I think a couple actually starting fingering each other. I actually stopped at one point and was like "they are not doing what I think they're doing. Oh my God!"I turned away from the stage after that. I had lots of fun dancing and singing and hanging out. I'm glad I didn't have classes on Friday as I didn't sleep until 5:00 in the morning.
I think I'm going home this weekend or next weekend, but I know I'm going to my brother's house in October. I'm cancelling the previous statement, I'm going to Japan Fest this weekend. Hopefully it will be better than last year. The Japan club is going. Anybody else?
I just finished my history test and I'm now gonna drown my tears in Butter Pecan ice cream(damn essay tests!) LATER.

Shamans, Wiccans, and Cursed Ground

I recently found out something that explains my moodiness, weird dreams, and the driving desire to keep Puck next to me as I sleep. As it turns out, the entire county Georgia Southern is on was cursed by 13 shamans before Georgia became a colony then by 13 Covens when they were at war with each other. As it turns out, I'm not really welcomed on this land and that explains why I've been trying to find blessing spells all over the internet. How does this happen to me? LATER

HELP!!!

Can somebody please change the layout of this blog?! I wish somebody would teach me. I'm back and classes continue, despite the down pour and the fact that umbrellas are breaking in record speed. I got an A- on my first paper in English. I think the Chaput was happy that I stated the uselessness of ideologies. My life is so boring, maybe I'll join the people at the bar tonight. I'll save it for Thursday. A group of girls want to give me a makeover, which includes skirts and p-I-n-k*shiver* Can't spell that word without loathing the people who made it popular. Anyway, this weekend: got my hair straightened, had spaghetti with a shitaki & portabello mushroom sauce(yumminess!), saw Alien v Predator, and ran into a couple of people. That's it . LATER
PS: I got my tires changed, it turns out the flat came first, which caused me to skid out of control.

9/03/2004

Another attempt at updating

The blog is being picky. Anyway, I drove home yesterday. On the way, I got stuck in a storm, hydroplaned, skidded to the other side(middle section), and slashed the tire. The tire remained unknown till I tried to drive again. My parents were on there way. What did you expect, they had to know and I was in the middle of nowhere. I ended up replacing the tire with the help of a trooper named Clinton. I couldn't drive above 50mph, turning a 3 hour trip into a 5+ hour trip. I met my parents in Fort Valley(because they were paranoid) and got home around 10:30. This morning, I woke up and went to get my hair professionally straightened, then met my parents for lunch. I think that's everything. LATER.

Satan's right hand man is a brownie!!

I recently joined a wiccan organization on the web. Yesterday I had to go to the health center because I felt( and still feel) sick. They told me my allergies mixed with a cold. This week started out so interesting. On Monday, I decided to eat in the cafeteria, but didn't want to eat alone, so I sat with a random girl. We talked for 10 minutes and her friends even joined us before I said, "by the way, my name is Ivette." Her friend gave the look of what. It amused me. On Tuesday there was an student organization/job fair. I signed up for so much stuff. Wednesday, I went to the Gay Straight Alliance meeting, their doing a volleyball game next Wednesday. The First Week of School

Damn it's only the second week. I want things to hurry up. I need to start working on those papers. Anyway, the first week is over. All the teachers gave the date when every assignment is due, which is cool. I think I'm going to minor in religious studies. I've met different people and Saturday went out with the only group of nondrinkers I've been able to find. Which works for me. We went to a Japanese restaurant called Nikko, then to a guy's house to watch movies. Yesterday, I was up until 2:00. A girl's roommate had her boyfriend over and they were doing stuff while the poor girl was still in the room!! She would've spent the night in my room, but Katie and I encouraged her to do something about it. I was for getting a group to go in and remove the mattress(public humiliation!) or putting Puck in there(Yes he's here with me), but two guy friends got her to go in and kick the dude out.
I've also met the only other person on campus who knows about Invader Zim. She's pretty cool and in my intro to religion class. It's nice, she's also into studying languages, fictional ones, like elvish language, but still. Maybe she can teach me. She showed me a comic called Sluggy Freelance. I like bun-bun, the mini lop. Read the comic and see why!!
I'm going to be in Columbus on Labor Day weekend. That's all for now. LATER

I'm here and I'm actually trying to be friendly around here. Any time somebody stops by I offer them something to eat or drink. I've also met some new people to hang out with, but it's nothing like the group back home.
I think mom and dad would be surprised to see how clean I have kept everything( it's only been four days, but I'm one of the cleanest people in the hall) and how I have been eating healthy.

I went to church on Sunday. A black church in the middle of nowhere. I stood out, but it was interesting. There was so much music and dancing and the preacher would yell like he could stop the apocalypse with his voice. He even has some psychic ability(words given to him by God). They made me feel like I was welcome and were all huggy, kinda like my family in Puerto Rico. Most of the time, I looked at the people around me, the dude in the all pink suit and the lady in the grey outfit who would jump and dance and run around the room when the music started, and the dude in blue who would raise his hands so God may touch them. I looked at the building, small but cozy with long thin windows and door in the back guarded by two men, a pew with few decorations on it. Then he said the funniest things about the pure and the impure. Gold and silver, according the Bible, are pure, while wood and earth are not. This seemed funny to me because the purest form of silver and gold comes only from the impure earth. Once man has gotten it to turn it into something it will be tainted. That means that the most pure person is not the one who goes to church but the one who is of the world and lives in the world without letting it get to them. Confused? Well I can't explain it much more, I have class. LATER.

See ya around

Well I'm packed up and ready to go. Not looking forward to the ride, my mom will be in the car with me and she yells. The car has no AC, but a fan was just put in(yea!). I'll miss everybody!!!!!!! LATER.

Vacation

Back from my brother's house. My uncle came on Saturday just to see his great-nephew. He was such an asshole, my mom got into a fight with him on the phone after he left. The next 3 days were spent working on the house(putting in wood floors in the living room, tile in the dining room, and dog proofing the outside). This included my b-day, which was then taken by one of Jenna's sister who shared the same day. Nobody told them about me, so they only had meat, which surprised me because they had pet pigs and chickens, were buying goats, and looking for a farm. Went to Mrytle Beach and didn't get sunburned. We got to the beach at 5:00 pm and stayed for an hour. Nobody wanted to play in the water, but I finally got to bury somebody in the sand.
Now for a full description of my nephew. He's a vampire baby!!!!!!!!!!!! He has beautiful eyes with variations from dark blue to dark green and sometimes grey. He looks like his mother when she was a baby. Rarely cries(like me as a baby), already trying to move, and trying to focus. That's everything. LATER.
**Special note: Fluffy's on medication and Christian got ringworm from his granny's cats, and everybody's checking for it .**

Shut the fuck up...

...one day I'll have the ability to say it to my mom and the speed to run away. I just needed an outlet for the rage building up at this time.
I'm also having difficulty telling them the dreams I've been having. How exactly do you tell you parents you have a dream where you beat them to death and buried them in the dining room, but in the process of burying them in the dining room you found an empty box of cereal(cheerios) which brought up the memory of a blonde haired woman who did the same thing except it was to her children and husband. It was so fucking creepy. That's not the only dream dealing with them. Before yesterday's dream, I had a dream that we were at a festival and I was walking around, through flee markets and around a parade where gold coins were thrown. Anyway, I got to this bridge and my parents met me there in the white car, but an old guy was driving the car. My dad came out of the car and asked "where's fluffy?" She was below the bridge. She climbed out and a triangle formed- me, my dad, and Fluffy. Something is going to happen to my family. I need to understand everything, if it really means what I'm getting. I don't think I can stand waking up with tears another morning. LATER

SIDE NOTE TO KALAN: I meant that you were very happy, not that you would skip around.

A wierd update

A few entrees back(6/16 I think) I talked about a wierd dream taking place in the airport. Well it continued this morning( I fell asleep at 1:00). We went to France, and were playing around in an old house with chipping white paint and two or three floors. Everybody was there except lauren( don't know why, maybe an exception). We're going through the hall on the top floor. In one room Ashely( yes Ashely, from Japanese class) is sitting down playing a game with some people and Peter was like "that bitch , she got us in trouble last time." We almost weren't allowed to go on this trip because of what was going on in the room at the airport. Anyway, we went passed them into another room which was dark and creepy then into a room that was empty. Geimer was walking around with a cane that had a jewel on it(pimp cane?) and a game started with everybody stealing the cane from who ever had it. There was something about the room that made everybody strangely happy( Kalan and Quita were skipping). Something bad happened. A moment of great happiness then sudden and great pain. Sounds like a prediction, doesn't it? Not as good as Ms. Cleo,  but just as vague. LATER.

He's Here

Christian Manuel Rodriguez- Born 18 July 2004 at 2:50 am; Weight- 6lbs. 9oz.  19 in. long
He is a has the skin of his mother(but he may darken), the hair of his father(dark brown and forming curls), and blue eyes for right now. I'm going to see him the first week of August, which may be a problem depending on when Peter comes for a visit.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY QUITA!!!! I called her this morning, but nothing wrong with saying it again. I'll give you your gift when I see you. Sorry you had to work!
I got a 3 on the AP exam.

Fortune cookie thought: Don't count your chickens before they hatch. I'm fearing the rest of the week. Not so deep, but it's my thoughts.

Third time's a charm

My sister-in-law is on her way to the hospital for the third time, this is my third attempt to write a blog entry, and this is my third day back in the office. Get the picture.

Well yeah, I think the doctors are going to get annoyed and force the baby out. My mom is on the phone interrogating my poor brother. I should help or something, but have no true experience. I'll update and invite everybody over to my house or something when he's born.

The true reason for the blog. I told my mom I would mention the receptionist job(mom job). It'll be open in August. Ron is pretty flexible. You would type, answer the phones, file, run errands, and be the first person people see when they walk on the door. You cannot cuss people out(fake happy), look like you have nothing to do, or play online games. If you want the job, leave a comment. I have mentioned it.
Next item, I WANT TO SEE THE GROUP! That's my birthday/leaving for college wish.

Fortune Cookie Thought: every person in the world has one person who thinks about them at least once a day.

My family's path

I've get to get this off my chest.
It deals with my family, go figure. I'm the freak of the family in so many ways!!!
The Explanation:
I have no problem having people eating meat around me. I just want a little support in my decisions. Don't ask if I want a bite of the hamburger. The answer is no. Also a warning would be nice for food that has had meat in it. For the second time, my dad has gotten me sick by giving me the food and taking out the meat, but not telling me(I avoid the kitchen when they're cooking out of being polite). My mom is like just eat it and there won't be any problems. They don't like change. There's the family path- get married young(before 25) join/marry a man in(for the women) a government agency, and have a baby soon after marriage. Everybody is in some form of Christianity and they can't live without meat, my uncle said he was going to be a vegetarian, but didn't last two hours(literally, my grandma made his favorite meat dish). I feel better with this realization. LATER.

7/07/2004

Back from my brother's house. Didn't do much, I didn't even get time to be alone with Rob. This was the most annoying because that's when he tells me what he really thinks about everything going on. I know something is bothering him and that's bothering me. It's more than Christian, who's coming any day now, and the animals, he's distant. Maybe I'm reading too much into it.
I'm back to my research of everything supernatural and occult. I need something to fill my days. I feel something brewing, more than college and those changes. It bothers me, so I research other things to keep from thinking about it.::sighs::I don't know what else to do.
I want to go outside to watch the sunset and listen to the coming storm, but my parents are outside working and they will ask too many questions. They think any change in me is cause for worry. I want to go into the country, but during the night. I want to be swallowed by shadows and sit in silence. The shadows of the cave before it was touched by humans. I see it as it should be and shiver at the thought of perfection in darkness, or maybe ignorance. You can't see it, the dirt or evil or whatever it should be called, therefore it is perfection until the light and noise come. Does that make one perfect? Does that make one a nothingness? Does that make for another form of death? A death without dying. Stuff to ponder. I think and want too much. LATER.

7/02/2004

In a few hours I will begin a six hour car ride with my parents to my brother's house. I could have gone to Panama City if I so chose, but my parents would like that too much. At my brother's house, they will be put to work cooking and helping in renovation projects. I will be allowed to lie around because I just get in the way. A useless creation. For the past two weeks I have been unable to leave the house 1) My car was put in the shop to try and get the air conditioner fixed and my parents needed their cars, 2)I had my wisdom teeth removed, 3) When the swelling finally went down on the right side of my face(only the right side became swollen),I twisted my ankle, 4) the swelling went down ankle, then the stuff to keep food out were removed and the doctor poked me in the gum and I may now have dry socket. It wouldn't have changed much, I always try to disappear during the summer. I thrive in isolation for some reason. Anyway I need to go pack. LATER

6/16/2004

HI!!!!!!!!!!
This past Saturday, I met my roommate, Katie. We played skeeball for a half an hour and got to know each other. She told me she didn't want to room with one of her friends because it may break the friendship. I told her none of my friends were coming. She was like "oh." I told her I don't eat meat, she was on the Atkins diet. I'm like that's cool, but she's like I won't eat meat in front of you. I told her I don't like too many bright colors, she showed up in a bright green t-shirt and bought a bright pink curtain for the closet. This is going to be interesting. I think everything will be fine once she figures out how relaxed I am about things.
I'm kind of pissed off at my mom. She told me since the middle of the year that I would have a job. I did everything I needed to do in a week and a half. I spent two days just sitting on my ass then just said if you need me call me. I AM SO BORED. I keep getting told this summer will just fly by, it's going so fucking slow.
Anyway I had this weird dream that deals with the group. I'm in an airport with the entire school is there, but I'm looking for the group because the plane is about to leave and the security was doing a drug check, but I couldn't find any of you guys. I ran the entire airport and right before I got to the final room I woke up. I got the feeling everybody was there.
I think that's it. LATER

6/09/2004

I'm back from the GA Southern orienation and for right now I have the perfect schedule. Nothing comes before 10, at least a half an hour gap, and no classes on Friday. But that's not official. Anyway the entire experiance was creepy. All these happy people. Almost all the girls looked soo skinny, I was worrying about falling and crushing one of them. The school has a huge and just about everything is walking distance from my dorm. The library is open 24/7. I signed up for this program for minority students and made a couple of friends, which was cool. I have to go to work. LATER!!!! PS: I couldn't stand the green anymore and needed to change the looked.

6/02/2004

Ok, unless I get different information, nothing is happening on Thursday. For those people who want to go to the movies on Friday, I'm going to get my ticket tomorrow, so if you want me to get you one and just pay me back later let me know.

Today marks a month without meat!!! I've been demoted at work to filing for the moment, but that's fine with me. My roommate and I have been e-mailing each other. She's seems cool. We're trying to arrange a meeting, sometime before getting to the dorms.
I thinks that's everything. LATER.

5/29/2004

I'm back from Six Flags. It was all good, until the final rollercoster. At first the seat was too loose and I almost fell out during the ride. Then at the end, while everybody got off, my seat remained locked, but nobody listened to me and kept pushing it down. It stayed like that and they almost couldn't unlock it with the key, which was stupidly made, so one has to stick a rod through a little hoop which is hard to get when somebody is in the seat. I was wondering why the lady before me was crying, I felt like crying. Anyway, I totally recommend Superman, you lie down and look at the ground or the sky, not the tracks. It's so cool.

Special AnnoucemenT: ThurSday, Harry Potter marathon(I think it's still on, somebody please tell me!!!) and Friday at 4:30 at the new theater, Harry Potter 3. You can come to both or pick one.
I think that's all. LATER

5/26/2004

Alright people, I have heard very little from many of you people and it makes me sad Are we or aren't we keeping T.N.T. around? Is it going to move to a different date? We need to find days that intercept if that's true.
Anyway here's an open invite: Six Flags($42.99- 34.99 on-line) or White Water( $29.99- $26.99 on-line) or both on Saturday. Six Flags has the offer of bringing in a coke can and get a free ticket when you buy one.
Do what you want with this information, that's where I'm going.
LATER.

5/24/2004

Alright, graduation is over with and I finished my first day at work. The best news of all...there are no extra people in the house and I got my room back! It's nice to see my family and all, but I would prefer them stay @ a hotel or something during the night. Anyway, after work I went shopping for some office clothes, then I came home and finally e-mailed the person who may be my room mate, as well as my brother. Finally I would like to thank those who came to the BBQ and say to Peter: you missed the only person who would have commented on your shirt to your face, except in Spanish. I'm going to bring some of the roast pork, which my mom froze, for everybody to try on Thursday, but it will take about an hour at low temperature to reheat(that's what my dad told me to do) Speaking of Thursday, I'll be there at 5:30-6:00, so please call me if you guys are going to be some place else. That's all for now.
Blessed Be!!!!!!!!!!Peace!!!

5/18/2004

SPECIAL NOTE: This entire week will hold my complaints

I can't get into an account on GA Southern because it was cancelled because of one too many attempts made by the only other people permanetly living in this house, but they shall remain nameless. They put the same password I put in over and over again because your only allowed a number of letters or numbers and they try to add stuff, instead of leaving it and me alone. I want out of this house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Later

5/15/2004

Nobody is here yet and I already wish them gone. This is suppose to be about what I feel at the moment, but, for them, I must play a happy hostess. I resign to screaming only in my head as this time is used for birthday parties and special annoucements, then, for just Saturday, they celebrate my graduation. They even planned everything in such a way that I will barely ever see them because I'm in school, they leave next Sunday. Later

5/14/2004

Wooooooooo!!!!!!!!!It's new and different!!!!!
Hey!!!!!
I had nothing to do during lunch so I decided to do a quick update. Starting Saturday my house will be filled beyond capacity and by next Friday, I'm getting sent to my neighbor's house because mine will be over stuffed with people. I just found out that another aunt will be coming by and she has five kids, no clue where they're going to stay. My dad came during second block to remind me to get the extra tickets, they just don't trust me. Yeah, that's it in my life. It's so boring @ home!!!!!!!!!! Blessed Be!!!!!!!Peace!!!!

yeah it's been a wee bit of time since i updated, so here it goes. Mad Mad house is over and Jaime, the stripper won. I've been having issues with my sinuses and those quizzes raise interesting questions within me. Am i really all that violent? I have tons of restraint otherwise i would have been the real life Jason or something.i am not the dog of satan and i have no plans to swear allegiance to the dark lord, but i have contradicted the catholic church, but i do not blaspheme the Lords name. Oh well, it doesn't matter, i have a headache now. That's all for now.
Blessed Be!!!!!!!!!!!!
Peace!

4/25/2004

HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's been awhile since I've updated. I'll start with mad mad house, which is about to end in such a disappointing way. None of the three are ones that I wanted to win, but there's nothing I can do about it. I will say that my parents don't mind me staying out until 11:30 and watch until the end. My parents came back Friday at about 9:00 pm, right after I got back from Cheddars, which was pretty good, they make good mudslides (it was nonalcoholic). They brought back three porcelain doll-a native American boy doll from Texas, one big doll with long feathers on it, and a small one in a tiger costume. Anyway, the foreign language fair on Saturday was fun. I don't know CSU very well, so Peter had to meet me in the parking lot. I talked to people, kicked some ass in a card game, getting 4,000 yen. MY kite didn't win, but that was just fine with me, hope Helen doesn't mind if I keep it. My parents left for August today for a doctor's appointment at 6:30 in the morning. Hopefully it will get him a higher disability rating, he's at 20% right now. I think that's all for now.
Blessed Be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Peace!

4/11/2004

Happy Easter!!!!

I'll start with Thursday. It was lots of fun, as usual. I'll work on DDR. On Friday, my parents decided to not go to Six Flags because of the chance of rain, but there was no rain Friday or Saturday. On Saturday, I got to try the stuffed french toast from IHOP. It's soo good. Then I went to the farmers market. They sell stuff at a nice price. I've been working on some projects that I may present on boards night. Anyway, I've been keeping contact with my brother in Kuwait. Somebody has been insulting him about his wife and my parents have been giving him some very stupid suggestions. Get the guy to throw the first punch then beat him up, stupid insults to give to the guy if he says stuff. I asked him the only questions they didn't, has he told the guy that he isn't funny? No. Is the guy higher ranking? He didn't answer. Does the guy have many friends? No answer again. He wanted to "drop hints when his friends are around and have them tell the guy. I'll update more later, my dad wants the computer.
Blessed Be!!!!!!!!!Peace!!!

4/05/2004

My shoulders are sooo burnt from yesterday. Kalan, Catherine, and I walked around for about an hour. It was fun. Now for an explanation on why I don't go outside to often. The sun literally drains me, I can't handle it, hence whenever I go out I get burn, no matter how much sunblock I where. I went home had dinner and fell asleep on the couch until DJ called, he wanted me to call him back when I was fully awake, but I fell back asleep and didn't wake up until 1:00.
Which brings me to some bizarre dreams. There are two that I can remember. One took place with my house in one of those t.v. suburban areas and the animal, with the exception of those if my backyard, were constipated because the lady across the street fed them paint (if they can't take a crap then there are no messes to clean up). She came over to my house with an offer to help me deal with my pets and was about to do a demonstration on Wendy, my brother's chihauhua, but I beat the shit out of her. Then my parents called me inside to eat Taco Bell for dinner and some people that I knew for New Jersey were there. This disturbed me because I haven't seen/thought of them in about a year. They were talking to me, but I couldn't say anything back, just give hand signals. The other had everybody, even Natasha in it, but was so weird for me, I'm not going into it. That's all for now
Blesses Be!!!!!!!!!!!!!Peace!!

4/03/2004

My parents gave me an early graduation gift today. A new car radio with a CD player!!! If I fail a class, they're taking it back. I'm not worried. They also gave me an $80 dollar gift certificate to Best Buy. I'm going shopping. I don't know what to get! My dad also cleaned my car, but that was just because he didn't want to go anyway in a car with some dolls in it.
My mom was happy with the finding of the scholarships, she's just making me go to her job to work on them because she doesn't want to buy printer ink. I'm spending most of today getting ready for tomorrow, finding the right supplies and cleansing them. Hopefully I can remember everything.
Peter says he just has to put the html stuff on and my new layout will be complete. That's all for now.
Blessed Be!!!!!!!!!!!Peace!!!

4/02/2004

I have found four different scholarships. Hopefully that'll make my parents happy. On to the quick recap of Mad Mad House. We were able to have TNT, Geimer and I went to the NHS induction and scared several people. Afterward we went to Peter's and watched Mad Mad House. Tim was finally taken out, yeah!!!!! Don said did something funny, he made it look like he was going to try to eliminate the person who was immuned*snicker* The thing that Art did with hanging from the ceiling was awesome. I kind of felt sorry for Nicole, almost everybody is against her, it doesn't matter what she acts like, but they're taking it a bit out of proportion and if they take her out the others will try to do it again. Actually, it would be kind of funny because it would be guaranteed to blow up in their faces.
Just a reminder to everybody coming to Sunday's picnic: bring dirt.
If possible why don't you guys bring your favorite incense.
That's all for now.
Blessed Be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Peace!
